Chef Patrick Kearney is opening an indulgent health concept, HAPPYJAXX, in Auction House Market. Patrick began his culinary career at top-rated venue, Peristyle, where he worked alongside James Beard award winner Anne Kearney, who happens to be his sister. Patrick also worked with Chef John Harris of Lilette and Bouligny Tavern before moving to private chefing.

Patrick’s concept is centered around healthy, vegetable-centric, craveable food. The menu boasts an impressive lineup of salads and inventive toasts, available all day, along with a selection of tea-based beverages. Some notable toasts include the Okonomi Toast topped with butter eggs, cabbage, bacon, green onions, and okonomi sauce, the Muffuletta Toast, topped with mortadella, salami, ham, mozzarella, provolone, olive salad, and sesame seeds, and the Curry Toast, topped with vegetable dal, mint, and an Indian yogurt. HAPPYJAXX will also offer breakfast salads, like The A.M. with apples, manchego cheese, toast almonds, mint, honey, lemon juice, and nut oil, served on baby greens, and all-day salads like the Spaniard, with Spanish rice, salami-roasted peppers, green olives, red onions, and manchego cheese on greens.
